Astro dried really fast - comparing to milliput or green stuff at least. With some ink and dry brushing you have quick and dirty kind of basing in no time.
Applying with palette knife, brush just seems too flimsy to move this stuff around. It fills nicely those kinda big cracks too. I have used green stuff and milliput for basing, but these texture paints might just do the trick without mixing and waiting.
The stuff is kinda heavy set and grainy.
First impression. New sealing method of jars: little plastic strings break with ease.
Ok, the name brings back lots of good memories from 2nd edition Blood Bowl... The polycarbonate field was called Astrogranite. So had to try out this new paint product from GW.
